Identity providers will enable the Scytáles mDL/mID App to be installed on citizens’ mobile devices to leverage high-assurance PKI technology in order to deliver comparable security assurances from mobile identification as that provided by high-security chip cards while enabling authentication capabilities across relying parties.As identification is going digital, Mobile Driving Licences can offer convenience, instant alternative to physical plastic IDs while helping combat fraud and establishing the foundation for a wide array of online digital services.
